| "I'm writing regarding the excellent experience we had at the Gold Miner Inn Holiday Inn Express while planning and executing the annual convention of the International Broadcasters Idea Bank 2009. First off, the facility was excellent. The sound system, projector and screen, Wi -Fi, Lighting and electrical, the things we usually have issues with, all worked flawlessly. The meeting rooms, chairs and restrooms were all clean and very comfortable and all attendees were pleased with their rooms."

| "We just came back from a 2 day trip to Grass Valley & Nevada City. What a nice hotel! It is 2 years old. The front desk staff (Brian) was very professional and efficient. We asked for a room in the quiet section and was given one facing the back parking lot instead of closer to highway 49. The King room was a good size, with enough space to walk around and sit. The bathroom was big enough to feel relaxed in it! Everywhere was clean. Every morning we started with their complimentary breakfast which consisted of cereals, yogurt, bread, bagels, English muffins, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, biscuit and gravy, juices, bananas, coffee and tea. It''s enough to start the morning. In the evening between 5 and 7pm, complimentary beverage is provided. Also, fresh cookies are available in the lobby plus coffee and tea during the day. We really liked the room and we didn't hear any guests around us, except someone directly above us were walking in their room in the morning. Otherwise, it's very quiet. The hotel management did a fantastic job." |

| "We stayed in Grass Valley for Cornish Christmas 2008. The hotel seemed relatively new and literally one block from the center of town. We had 3 rooms for 3 nights, with ages from 4 months to 76.
Check-in went smooth and breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, bread/pastries and cereal and coffee/juice. Very nice touch. Also there is a full bar with snacks at 5pm included-not just wine/beer. There is an exercise room, and business center. The location is absolutely great. The people are all very nice, especially Gail who was the breakfast lady as well as our housekeeper! We plan on coming back next year." |

They have a nice cocktail reception every evening and a good breakfast each morning with hot cooked choices. A very good location in the California Gold Country to base day trips from. | My daughter and I recently were on a trip to check out colleges in your area and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (Gold Miners Inn) is Grass Valley, California. What a wonderful surprise your hotel was! The staff was so friendly and our room so clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the free cocktail hour in your beautiful lobby.
We were also pleasantly satisfied with your complimentary breakfast that included omelets and biscuits and gravy, not just cereal.

| The hotel has a large, attractive lobby with tables & chairs for the breakfast buffet & evening reception. There is a large flat screen TV over the fireplace in the area with couches & chairs. At check in, we received coupons for one complimentary evening drink
Our hotel room had all the usual amenities I like in Holiday Inn Express hotels: good beds & pillows, great showerhead and good breakfast buffet, which includes some hot foods like scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy. Our room was very spacious. It had a microwave & refrigerator. |

| I visited this hotel with some colleagues and my room was gorgeous. TV, fridge, microwave, table, desk, data ports, free high speed internet access, etc. The "elephant" in the room and gold poker chip cookies were such a nice touch.
It is very convenient, being less than a minute or two from the highway and there are a variety of restaurants & shops within a 5-10 minute walk.
The conference room was professional and efficient. Throughout our 2 day conference our coordinators were able to put up/take down a wall, for various presentations. The restrooms were always perfectly clean. The large outdoor patio was perfect for lunch and we were able to move the tables around as we needed.
The lounge area is quite large, with plenty of comfortable seating. The complimentary executive breakfast and nightly manager''s reception went truly above and beyond my expectations. The business center next to check in came in handy.
I really can''t say enough! I stayed here on a business trip and I am sure to return for pleasure. |

| I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Grass Valley while I attended a relatives wedding. The hotel was great. The lobby was very warm and inviting. It was so comfortable that I spent a couple of hours sitting in the lounge chairs visiting with friends. I also enjoyed the free cocktail hour that was available every afternoon. The room was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the cleanliness of the bed cover. (No dirty bed spread) The room was very quiet, too. The location was convenient to the downtown area, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and I plan to stay there on my next visit to Grass Valley. |

| We stayed at this newly opened hotel and we had a lovely stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The toiletries were really nice and handy. We had use of the gym facilities. There were also complimentary drinks on arrival and a fantastic breakfast buffet on the mornings we stayed. There is good parking and its close to the town. |

| This hotel was perfect for me and my family. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfast/ coffee bar saved us at least a couple hundred dollars over the course of the week. I will definitely come back when we are in town for all of the upcoming holidays. I even recommended it for my sister''s wedding...and she just booked her date last night!!! |

| "I stayed in a handicapped accessible room to accommodate my physical disability. In the last 10 years I have stayed at HIE hotels from California to New York. My experience at this hotel was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! The facility, as well as the room in which I stayed, should be a MODEL for all hotel properties. This hotel made the room universally accessible. Kudos to all involved with design, up-keep and management." |

| We had a great stay again, this time with our infant. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, I loved the pastries and my husband was a fan of the sausage gravy. The staff was quick to replace the almost empty trays of food so we did not have to wait. This is the only hotel I will stay at in this town! |

| This is the second time I have stayed here. It was just as nice as the first time, over a year ago! Very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful with all my requests. I liked that the restaurants and shopping were just a short walk. The breakfast was tasty and I enjoyed the free cocktail hour in the evenings. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Grass Valley. |

| Your staff has been exceptional to work at all levels. Melanie has been a tremendous resource in getting our Grand Opening Event pulled together, and I honestly don’t know that we would have been open on Friday, October 1 if it weren’t for Paul’s hard work and efforts in many, many areas. Even your housekeeping staff, Carly, specifically, has gone out of her way to make sure the cookies are handed out exactly as we would like. Its so refreshing to work with a staff that really cares about our needs and is willing to offer their support when needed.
So, thank you again for the gorgeous bouquet of flowers as well as all the support from everyone on your staff. We look forward to many, many years of success and solidarity with everyone at the Gold Miner’s Inn.

| Selected as top hotel in Grass Valley by local news poll for 2009.
The Wolf Creek burbles through a small area near front entrance. Previous reviewers are correct. The additional bonus is that we left some personal papers on the nightstand. When we were 100 miles away we called back. The front desk and housekeeping found them and mailed them to our home. Now that''s service! |
